Personal Training

The last two weeks have been an adventure in Personal Training. I hired Erin Crawford who is a personal trainer and world champion figure athlete. I chose her because she was recommended by a friend and definetly practices what she preaches. I purchased 4 personal training sessions, the meal plans, and the workout plans. Her rate is expensive, but you get what you pay for an none of my sessions lasted less than 90mins.

Let me tell you that getting up at 545am to be at the gym for 6am was a system shock. I am not a morning workout person. I like my workouts at Noon and after work. I did it. 4 times in 2 weeks I got up before 6am to have Erin kick my butt for 90mins.

Erin devised 2 lower body and 2 upper body days for me and we reviewed both sets of plans. These workouts include a warm up, ab work, control exercises, then the actual weight section. The upper body days certainly have me sore and stiff the next day, but I am not getting that feeling from the lower body days. I think I need to increase the weight on the lower body days, but as the exercises focus on stability I also don't want to fall on my face.

We did my measurements and body fat percentages and are going to compare against them in another 2 weeks or so. I'm nervous about that one, but hopefully it will validate my results.
